Arranging and Displaying Windows

Besides the Windows commands for closing, opening, and sizing windows, the Development Environment has commands for displaying and arranging windows. These commands appear on the Window menu and include:

Command Action

Cascade Overlaps all open windows. The top of each window appears below the previous window's title bar. The active window appears at the front. See Figure 1.3.
Tile Resizes windows so that all open windows appear on the screen without overlapping. See Figure 1.4.

Graphical Development Environment windows support the standard Windows Control menu commands, including the Minimize command. When a window is minimized, an icon representing the window appears at the bottom of the main environment window (see Figure 1.5). Double-click the icon to restore the window.
