Getting Help

The Graphical Development Environment features an easy-to-use online reference system that provides information about the Development Environment, programming language, Windows functions, and compiler and linker errors.

You can get help in four ways:

Open the Help menu to find information in the help contents or to use the Search dialog box.

Press F1 to get information on the topic selected with the cursor. This can be a menu item or the current dialog box.

Choose the Help button in a dialog box to get information about the dialog box and its actions.

Place the insertion point within the source window or Errors window for context-sensitive help.
