QuickCase:W works best when used from the beginning of a project. Let QuickCase:W generate the initial .C file for the program, and then modify that file from within the Graphical Development Environment.
During the development process you may need to switch back and forth between QuickCase:W and the Development Environment. QuickCase:W recognizes files that it originally created, even after you modify them. QuickCase:W also recognizes your additions and changes and leaves them in place.
However, if you modify a line of QuickCase:W code so extensively that QuickCase:W does not recognize the code as its own, QuickCase:W comments out the line (but leaves it in the file) and inserts a new one.
