The Toolbox

You can build a dialog on screen by selecting control symbols from the Toolbox and dropping them in the dialog (see Figure 2.4).

·To display or hide the Toolbox:

Click the Show Toolbox command on the Options menu.

·To move the Toolbox:

Drag its title bar with the mouse.

·To place a control:

1.Click the corresponding Toolbox symbol with the mouse.

2.Move the mouse pointer into the dialog and click again. The Toolbox symbol remains depressed until you click in the dialog to place the control.

·To place identical controls in one operation:

1.Hold down the CTRL key when selecting the Toolbox symbol.

2.Move the mouse pointer into the dialog and click repeatedly in the dialog. The Toolbox symbol remains depressed until you click the Toolbox pointer symbol.

·To cancel the current selection:

Press ESC before dropping a control.
