Adding Scroll Bars

QuickCase:W can add horizontal and vertical scroll bars to a prototyped interface.

NOTE:

QuickCase:W sets up support for the scroll bar messages in the generated .C file, but you must insert the code that controls the movement of the presentation space.

·To add scroll bars:

1.From the Design menu, choose the Scroll Bars command. The Scroll Bars dialog box appears (Figure 5.5).

2.Select the check boxes for the scroll bars you want.

3.Optionally, fill in the Range edit field with a number to indicate how many times a scroll arrow must be clicked to move from one end of the bar to the other. (The default is 10.)

4.Choose OK.

If you add a scroll bar but do not change the number for Range, it will take 10 clicks on the scroll bar arrow to move from one end of the scroll bar to the other. The number for Range must be between 1 and 1,024, inclusive.
