Getting Environment Help

The online reference system shows you how to use dialog boxes, menu commands, and procedures in the Development Environment.

·To get information about a menu command:

1.Choose the menu.

2.Use the DOWN ARROW key to highlight the menu command.

3.Press F1. Help information for the command appears (see Figure 6.5).

·To get information about a dialog box:

Choose Help in the dialog box.

Or press F1.

Close the Help window to return to the dialog box.

·To get information on all topics:

1.From the Contents screen, choose a category of topics you are interested in—for example, “Debugging.” Each category of topics is represented by an icon.

2.From the list of help topics, choose one.

You can also use the Search command to find a help topic. See “Searching a Help File” on page 55 for information.
