COLORS2: Experiments with Color Using Scroll Bars and a Modeless Dialog Box

COLORS2 displays three scroll bars in the left half of the client area labeled "Red", "Green", and "Blue". When you scroll, the right half of the client area changes to the composite color indicated by the mix of the three primary colors. The numeric values of the three primary colors are displayed under the three scroll bars. COLORS2 uses a modeless dialog box instead of static child windows to display the scroll bars and text items.

COLORS2 is a companion application for “Programming Windows” by Charles Petzold. The source code for this application has not been modified or tested by Microsoft Corporation.
