The Microsoft(R) Windows(TM) Help Project Editor (WHPE) is an accessory application for Windows versions 3.0 and 3.1. You can use WHPE to create and edit Help project (.HPJ) files and to compile Help (.HLP) files from Windows. WHPE makes creating Help files easier for Help authors. For more information, see the "Microsoft Windows Help Authoring Guide."

The Windows Help Authoring Templates (WHAT) modify Microsoft Word for Windows so that you can easily create and edit topic files; insert and edit topics, graphics, and hot spots; format topic text and graphics; save topic files in RTF format; and view partial topic builds in Windows Help.

WHPE and WHAT was built and tested under Microsoft Windows version 3.1. You must install the utility from the CD-ROM to your hard disk before running it. To install WHPE/WHAT click the following button.
