ipsend.SendFTSFile

[This is preliminary documentation and subject to change.]

The SendFTSFile method sends FTS data.

Syntax

object.SendFTSFile( sSrcFilename )

Parts

object
Object expression that resolves to an ipsend object.
sSrcFilename
String that contains the name of the file at the transmission source or head end. This string can also contain a relative path to the file, for example, "Myshow/File1.htm". If sSrcFilename specifies a relative path, the client stores the file in the specified directory, as a subdirectory of the spool directory. This parameter cannot contain a fully-specified path.

Remarks

Before you call this method, you must call ipsend.ConnectFTS to establish a connection.

Examples

The following example uses SendFTSFile to transmit the file, File1.htm, to the client. This file is stored on the client as "C:\Program Files\TV Viewer\Interactive Content\<random>\MyShow\File1.htm" where <random> is a random string generated by the broadcast client.

isend.SendFTSFile "MyShow\File1.htm"

The following causes File1.htm to be downloaded to the client and stored in the "C:\Program Files\TV Viewer\Interactive Content\<random>File1.htm" directory.

isend.SendFTSFile "File1.htm"
