Folders allow for an initial view to be chosen for display when a user selects a folder not previously used. The initial view is saved by storing the entry identifier of the view descriptor message into the PR_DEFAULT_VIEW_ENTRYID property on the folder. If no default view is specified, the normal view is used as the default. There is always a normal view.
