Rule Actions

Rule actions are of two types: normal and deferred.

• Normal actions are carried out by Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Deferred actions are carried out by the Microsoft Exchange Client code responsible for the rule. Deferred actions are invoked by deferred action messages. Deferred actions make possible tasks such as moving messages between folders in different information stores.
