Accessing Addressable Objects through MAPI

All objects in the Microsoft Exchange Server directory are addressable. However, certain objects are better suited to manipulation through the MAPI address book (IAddrBook) interface than others. For example, Mail-Recipient objects, whose primary role is to receive messages, are often good choices for manipulation through MAPI. In contrast, Messaging-Domain objects (sites) are usually not mail recipients and are better accessed through the directory access functions.
