Granting Permissions

In order to install a script on the server, you need correct permissions on two folders:

    To grant permissions for installing scripts
  1. Using the Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator program, in the Systems Folder container under \Events Root, select the EventConfig_<ServerName> folder that corresponds to the server on which the Microsoft Exchange Event Service is running.
  2. On the File menu, choose Properties, and then choose Client Permissions.
  3. Choose Add, and then select the user who will have permission to run applications or other agents on this server.
  4. In the Roles dialog box, select Author or another role with greater permissions (Owner); take special care when granting Owner permission because of the power this role entails.
