You can write scripts in VBScript, JavaScript, or another supported scripting language. You can use any script or text editor, including Microsoft Outlook version 8.03, and either Notepad or Microsoft Visual Studio 97. In fact, with a macro extension (an Add-In) installed, Microsoft Visual Studio can be used as a complete script creation tool. It lets you open, edit, and save scripts in folders within Microsoft Exchange information stores.
For details on configuring Microsoft Visual Studio to open, edit, and save scripts for use by the Microsoft Exchange Scripting Agent, please see the Release Notes for Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5.
