How the gateway is configured controls where the gateway looks for incoming message files and where it places outgoing message files. It also controls other details about message processing, including the address type and the location of conversion DLLs. The configuration dialog box is supplied by the gateway's extension DLL and is discussed in Using SGWADMIN.DLL.
The gateway only responds to configuration changes when it is started.
