The increased use of color images in all forms of digital communication necessitates the implementation of a color management scheme for Windows® operating systems. The color management scheme that is used by Microsoft® Windows® 98 and Microsoft® Windows NT® 5.0 is called Image Color Management version 2.0, or ICM 2.0.
