Using Features of the Microsoft Virtual Machine for Java

The Microsoft® Virtual Machine for Java (Microsoft VM) allows code written in Java to access native code written for the Win32® platform. This includes support for ActiveX/JavaBeans integration, Microsoft® J/Direct™ technologies for calling dynamic-link libraries, and the lower-level support for the Raw Native Interface (RNI) and accessing COM interfaces directly.
