The Author element is a text string representing the name of the author of the ASX file. You can use the Author element in the ASX and Entry elements. The text contained in the Author element is displayed in the Display panel and Properties dialog box of the player.
If the Author element is used in the ASX element, the text is displayed on the Show tab of the Properties dialog box.
You also can use the Author element in the Entry element, in which case the text is displayed under Clip Author in the Display area and on the Clip tab of the Properties dialog box.
