ISCardFileAccess::Create

The Create method creates a file at a given location within the smart card file system.

Parameters

refType [in]
Specifies the type of reference used in bstrPathSpec as follows:

SC_TYPE_BY_NAME

SC_TYPE_BY_ID

SC_TYPE_BY_SHORT

SC_TYPE_BY_ANY

bstrPathSpec [in]
Specifies file ID to be created within current context.
TLV [in]
List of TLV structures which values have to be set.
Flags [in]
Specifies whether secure messaging has to be used and data preallocated.

SC_FL_PREALLOCATED

pDataBuffer [in, defaultvalue(NULL)]
Pointer to preallocated data.

Return Values

The possible return values are the following:

Value Meaning
S_OK Operation completed successfully.
E_INVALIDARG Invalid parameter.
E_POINTER A bad pointer was passed in.
E_OUTOFMEMORY Out of memory.
