ISCardFileAccess::Seek

The Seek method selects the object from which (read/write) access will be done.

Parameters

hFile [in]
Handle to an open file.
Seek [in]
Specifies where the seek should begin:

SC_SEEK_FROM_BEGINNING

SC_SEEK_FROM_END

SC_SEEK_RELATIVE

lOffset [in]
The number of data objects from the reference object.

Return Values

The possible return values are the following:

Value Meaning
S_OK Operation completed successfully.
E_INVALIDARG Invalid parameter.
E_OUTOFMEMORY Out of memory.

Remarks

To read to or write from a file, call Read or Write respectively.

In addition to the COM error codes listed above, this interface may return a smart card error code if a smart card function was called to complete the request. For information on smart card error codes, see Smart Card Error Codes.
