You can create NetView user alerts for users to send. Users identify the alerts by number; each number corresponds to a specific collection of information or requests that the user wants to send through NetView to a host operator.
Microsoft® SNA Server leaves blank fields for the user alert information in the structure that is returned from sepdcrec. To create specific user alerts, create appropriate data structures and call the TRANSFER_MS_DATA common service verb to send the user alert to NetView.
