Scheduling Task Execution
When creating or modifying a task, you have the option of specifying that the task be executed repeatedly, at specified intervals. The default is for a recurring task to be executed once a week, on Sunday. You have the option of changing this.
To schedule a task

While creating a task (using the New Task dialog box) or while modifying an existing task (using the Edit Task dialog box), choose the Change button.
The Task Schedule dialog box appears.

Complete the scheduling information in this dialog box.
For information about the options in this dialog box, see the definitions that follow this procedure.

Choose OK.
The recurring schedule is set. The previous dialog box (New Task or Edit Task) returns.
Following are brief descriptions of the selections you will make while scheduling a task in the Task Schedule dialog box.

Occurs

The frequency with which the task should occur. Choices are Daily, Weekly, and Monthly.

Daily

If you choose Daily occurrence, then the Daily frame appears in the dialog box. Enter the number of days in the recurrence cycle. The default is Every 1 Day(s), indicating that the recurring task will be executed each day.
For example, you might enter 3. The recurring task will be executed every third day.

Weekly

If you choose Weekly occurrence, then the Weekly frame appears in the dialog box. Enter the number of weeks in the recurrence cycle, and select the day. The default is Every 1 Week(s), on Sunday.
For example, you might enter 4 and select Tuesday. The recurring task will be executed every four weeks, on Tuesday.

Monthly

If you choose Monthly occurrence, then the Monthly frame appears in the dialog box. Complete the choices in this frame.
For example, if you enter Day 4 of Every 2 Month(s), the recurring task will be executed on the fourth day of every other month.

Daily Frequency

The frequency with which the task should occur. This can be either once a day at a specified time or repeated at a specified interval within a specified range of hours.

Duration

The period during which the task is executed.

Start Date

The first day on which the recurring task will be executed.

End Date

The last day on which the recurring task will be executed. Not valid if No End Date is selected.

No End Date

The recurring task has unlimited duration.
