Removing an Operator

If an operator is no longer applicable, you can remove it. Or you can disable an operator, which inactivates the operator but preserves the operator information.

    To drop an operator

1. From the Manage Alerts window, select the Operators tab.

   

2. Select an operator, and then choose the Delete Operator button.

   

    To disable or reactivate an operator

1. From the Manage Alerts window, select the Operators tab.
2. Select the operator name, and then choose the Edit Operator button. Or double-click an operator name.

   

   The Edit Operator dialog box appears.

   

3. Set the Enabled option.
   • To disable an operator, clear this option.
   • To reactivate a disabled operator, select this option.
4. Choose OK.
