Even though a gateway initialization section is provided in the gateway resource DLL, the Open Data Services ODBC driver allows the client installation to override or add additional initialization commands. This is provided through the Initialization keyword in ODBC.INI. The Initialization section is a set of commands, delimited by semicolons, that the driver executes after the resources DLL default initialization commands and before any user-initiated statements.
