Once the SQL Server client software is installed, optional client configuration parameters can be set by the SQL Server Client Configuration Utility on client computers running the Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows, and Windows for Workgroups operating systems.
No client configuration utility is provided for MS-DOS - based clients, because MS-DOS - based clients use a terminate-and-stay-resident (TSR) program, and only one Net-Library TSR can be loaded at a time.
For information on setting optional client configuration parameters, see the Microsoft SQL Server Administrator's Companion.
