Operators are symbols used to perform mathematical computations and/or comparisons between columns or variables. Comparisons can be made between like datatypes without any conversion, implicit conversion, or if necessary, explicit conversion. When comparisons are made between implicitly converted datatypes, the result will have the greater precision, the larger scale, and/or the larger/longer datatype.
