DeregisterEventSource

The DeregisterEventSource function closes a handle to the specified event log.

BOOL DeregisterEventSource(
  HANDLE hEventLog   // handle to event log
);
 

Parameters

hEventLog

Handle to the event log. This handle is returned by the RegisterEventSource function.

Return Values

If the function succeeds, the return value is nonzero.

If the function fails, the return value is zero. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.
