Old Guidelines That Have Been Removed

The following guidelines present in previous versions of the Designed for Microsoft® Windows® Logo Handbook have been removed:

• Uninstallers should require adequate security permissions (Logo Handbook version 3.0, page 28).
• Development tools should be able to create applications that use multiple threads (Logo Handbook version 3.0, page 45).
