WSAHtonl

The Windows Sockets WSAHtonl function converts a u_long from host byte order to network byte order.

int WSAHtonl (
  SOCKET s,
  u_long hostlong,
  u_long FAR * lpnetlong
);

Parameters

s

hostlong
[in] A 32-bit number in host byte order.
lpnetlong
[out] A pointer to a 32-bit number in network byte order.

Remarks

Return Values

If no error occurs, WSAHtonl returns zero. Otherwise, a value of SOCKET_ERROR is returned, and a specific error code can be retrieved by calling WSAGetLastError.
