Microsoft VPN, with its PPTP foundation, shipped with Windows NT Server 4.0 and Windows NT Workstation 4.0. A downloadable PPTP upgrade for Windows 95 is planned for year-end 1996 availability. PPTP support is also made available by a growing number of remote access solution vendors, like those in the PPTP Forum, firewall vendors, and others.
