Invalid settings in the Btrieve key of the Windows Registry. (Error 3221)

A setting in the Btrieve key of the Windows Registry is not valid. For example, this error occurs if the /l: or /f: settings in the options entry are invalid.

To fix the Windows Registry settings

  1. Exit your application.

  2. Start the Registry Editor, navigate to the \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\3.5\Engines\Btrieve key, and select the value that needs to be fixed.

  3. On the Edit menu, click Modify.

  4. Correct the data in the Value data box.

  5. Restart your application, and then try the operation again.
