Sensitivity to Change

Standard cursors fall into one of two categories, depending on their sensitivity to change: keyset-driven or dynamic.

With Keyset-driven standard cursors, values can change, but order and membership in the results set remain fixed at cursor open time.

With Dynamic standard cursors, values, order, and membership in the results set can change.
