Using the MSysConf Table to Configure Microsoft Jet

The MSysConf table is a special table that you create in your remote database. You can use it to:

• Prevent users from storing the logon ID and password locally for a linked SQL table.
  
  
• Set the number of records that are retrieved at one time.
  
  
• Set the number of seconds of delay between each retrieval.
