To set up the Messages database from floppy disks

1. Start Windows NT.

   If you want to share the Messages database with other uers, be sure to log on as the Administrator before installing the database.

2. Insert the first Windows NT Resource Kit floppy disk.
3. In Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu.

   The Run dialog box appears.

4. Type drive letter:setup in the Command Line box.
5. Choose the OK button.
6. Follow the instructions on screen to complete Setup.

   If you want to share the Messages database with other users, specify a path to a network server when Setup asks where you want to install it.

   When it asks if you want to join an existing workgroup, choose the No button unless you have already set one up on the network. You can use the Change WorkGroup icon to do that later.
