Running the Database Under MS-DOS with Windows
To use the Messages database on a computer that has MS-DOS® with Microsoft Windows™ 3.1 or later, you need the following:
- IBM-compatible personal computer with an 80386 or higher processor (including 80386sx)
- Hard disk with 4.5 to 5 megabytes (MB) of free space
- Microsoft Mouse or other compatible pointing device (optional)
- VGA or higher, or compatible display
- MS-DOS version 5 or later
You can use the same Windows NT Resource Kit floppy disks or CD to set up and run the Messages database on MS-DOS with Windows as you did to run it under Windows NT.
