Used to divide two numbers and return only the remainder.

Syntax

result %= expression

The %= operator syntax has these parts:

Part	Description
result	Any variable.
expression	Any numeric expression.

Remarks

Using the %= operator is exactly the same as specifying:

result = result % expression
