SYMPTOMSModerate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills. When you run a make-table query to create a new table, the table does not inherit all the properties from the table on which the query is based.
CAUSEWhen you run a make-table query, the new table inherits the data type and FieldSize property of each field in the query's underlying table, but not the other field or table properties.
RESOLUTIONTo create a table that has the same properties as another table, use the Copy and Paste commands. To use the Copy and Paste commands, follow these steps:
