SYMPTOMSAdvanced: Requires expert coding, interoperability, and multiuser skills. If you change the source of a linked object on a form using the Links dialog box, the SourceObject and SourceItem properties for that object will not be updated, although the object itself will be updated correctly.
CAUSEThe SourceObject and SourceItem properties are used only to create new objects or update existing objects. They are not meant to reflect an object's current description.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access version 2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
