SYMPTOMSNovice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. When you are viewing a table in Design view, and you choose the Undo Property Setting command, you may receive a general protection (GP) fault in MSACCESS.EXE.
CAUSEThis problem occurs if you change the FieldSize property setting of a Number field from Double to another size, and then choose Undo Property Setting from the Edit menu.
RESOLUTIONInstead of choosing Undo Property Setting to restore the field's FieldSize property setting, select the setting you want from the list of available settings.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access version 2.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 7.0.
