The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSNovice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. When you use the Output To command to output a report containing a blank label to a Rich Text Format (RTF) file, the RTF file is not created. Microsoft Access does not alert you that the command was not processed.
CAUSEThe report contains a label whose Caption property is blank.
RESOLUTIONTo work around the problem, either delete the report's blank label or add a value (a space or any other character or characters) to the label's Caption property setting.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access version 2.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 7.0.
