ACC97: F5 Does Not Switch a Report from Design to Print Preview

SYMPTOMS

Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

When you press the F5 key in Design view of a report, the report does not switch to Print Preview.

RESOLUTION

To switch a report from Design view to Print Preview, on the View menu, click Print Preview.

MORE INFORMATION

When you are in Design view of a form, you can press the F5 key to switch the form to Form view. However, the F5 key does not have this functionality in Design view of a report.
