The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you disable the Control Box for a form, the Control Box submenu is disabled also. If you maximize and then restore a form that has its Control Box disabled, the Control Box submenu will reappear on the restored form if you press the ALT key, and then press the LEFT ARROW key.
RESOLUTIONIf you remove the Control Box from a form, do not maximize it because the submenu will be restored if the form is returned to its normal size.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access 97. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
