The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSModerate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills. When you export the data in a table that has been formatted using a bold font style from Microsoft Access 7.0 or 97 to Microsoft Excel 7.0 or 97, with the "Analyze It with MS Excel" command, the bold font style is replaced by a regular font style. If you export the same table to Microsoft Word 7.0 or 97, the bold font style is not changed.
CAUSEExporting data to Microsoft Excel using the "Analyze It with MS Excel" command preserves most formatting, such as regular and italic font styles and colors. However, bold font styles are not preserved.
RESOLUTIONTo ensure that the data you export to Microsoft Excel is displayed in a bold font style, you must format the data after it is exported.
