SYMPTOMSModerate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills. When you use the "Publish to the Web" Wizard to create HTML files, if you try to save the files to the root (\) folder on any drive, you may receive the following error message:
File not foundSaving HTML files to a root folder is particularly common when you are using a mapped drive. For example, D:\ on your computer may be mapped to the C:\Inetsrv\Scripts folder on your Internet server computer.
RESOLUTIONRemove the backslash (\) after the drive letter on the "Where do you want to publish to?" screen of the "Publish to the Web Wizard." For example, instead of typing C:\ or D:\, just type C: or D:. Note that if you select the drive letter using the Browse button on the wizard screen, the backslash is added automatically. You can delete the backslash manually in the "I want to put my Web publication in this folder" box.
