SYMPTOMSModerate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills. When you make certain changes to the design of a linked table, the changes are saved, even though you are prompted with the following message:
Microsoft Access can't save property changes for linked tables. Do you want to continue anyway? CAUSEDesign changes to linked tables are saved if changes are also made to the data in the table, and the changes do not affect any of the following properties:
RESOLUTIONWhen prompted with the message "Microsoft Access can't save property changes for linked tables. Do you want to continue anyway?", click No. This will prevent you from making unwanted changes to the design of your tables.
