Microsoft Access 97 is available in two versions: a retail version and an upgrade version. The retail version will run on any computer that meets the system requirements for Microsoft Access 97. The upgrade version sells at a reduced price, and requires that you have one of the qualifying competitive products listed in this article in addition to meeting the system requirements for Microsoft Access 97.
