ADT/ODE: Can't Redistribute Calendar Control Without ODE LicenseLast reviewed: June 27, 1997Article ID: Q170692 |
The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYBoth Microsoft Office 97 Professional Edition and the stand-alone version of Microsoft Access 97 provide a Calendar ActiveX control for use in Microsoft Office applications. However, you are not licensed to redistribute the Calendar control unless you own a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 97 Developer Edition.
MORE INFORMATIONEven though the Calendar control is included with Microsoft Office 97 Professional Edition and the stand-alone version of Microsoft Access 97, you cannot redistribute the Calendar control (MSCAL.OCX) in a custom application unless you have purchased a copy of Microsoft Office 97 Developer Edition. If you do not own a licensed copy of Microsoft Office 97 Developer Edition, but plan to distribute your application to users who own either Microsoft Office 97 Professional Edition or the stand-alone version of Microsoft Access 97, your application will work properly if the users have installed the Calendar control.
REFERENCESFor a list of files that you can distribute with your run-time application, search the Help Index in Microsoft Office 97 Developer Edition Tools for "files, distributing with run-time application." |
