SYMPTOMSNovice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. When you import a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet into Microsoft Access, currency is not displayed correctly in the Import Spreadsheet Wizard. The dollar signs, as well as the zeros to the right of the decimal place, are missing from the sample data. However, when you open the resulting table, you see that the data has been imported correctly.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access 7.0 and Microsoft Access 97. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
