ACC1x: Cannot Create Relationships with Attached Tables

SUMMARY

You cannot create a relationship between a Microsoft Access table and an attached table. Relationships can be created only between Microsoft Access tables. Any joins involving attached tables must be created using the query grid.

To establish a relationship between Microsoft Access tables, do the following:

  1. Open a Microsoft Access database. By default, the Database window has the focus.

  2. From the Edit menu, choose Relationships.

  3. Select a table from the Primary Table list box. Note that no attached tables appear on the list.
