The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Access versions 1.0, 1.1

There are two quick ways to determine the account (user) under which you are logged in:

  • In the Database window, select Change Password from the Security menu. In the Change Password dialog box, Microsoft Access displays the account name.
  • Call the User() function from Access Basic. To do this, open any module, type the following in the Immediate window, and then press ENTER:

          ? User()

    The user name will be displayed in the Immediate window.
